  In dit project heeft de ZZG Zorggroep, een van de aanbieders van verpleeghuiszorg binnen de regio Nijmegen, een vertaalslag gemaakt van AMS in de ziekenhuizen naar de verpleeghuiszorg. De aanbevelingen en werkmaterialen zijn beschreven in de handleiding ‘Antimicrobial Stewardship binnen de verpleeghuiszorg’. Deze aanbevelingen zijn te beschouwen als mogelijke onderdelen van een ‘gereedschapskist’, die binnen het eigen samenwerkingsverband ingezet kunnen worden; programma Goed Gebruik Geneesmiddelen

  Uit het onderzoek 'Assessing the (cost)effectiveness of recommended strategies to evaluate and improve the quality of antibiotic use in Antimicrobial Stewardship programs' van het Amsterdam UMC (locatie AMC) lijkt dat de opnameduur verkort wordt, het antibioticagebruik daalt en dat kosten worden bespaard als de kwaliteit van het antibioticagebruik in ziekenhuizen wordt gemeten en op een gestructureerde wijze verbeterd wordt; programma Priority Medicines Antimicrobiële Resistentie

  In de interventiestudie 'VET-ENHANCE Veterinary guidelines to support antimicrobial stewardship: enhancing implementation through behavioural interventions' van de Universiteit Utrecht wordt getoetst of de implementatie van de richtlijnen te verbeteren is. Het doel van de toetsing is het verder reduceren van het antibioticagebruik op een verantwoorde manier; programma Antibioticaresistentie

  De Universiteit Utrecht is onderzoek 'CIAOCIAO! Comparative Impact Assessment of Options to Curtail Inessential Antimicrobials On-farm' gestart naar de benodigde biosecurity, vaccinatiegraad en acties op de boerderij om te komen tot een verminderd antibioticumgebruik bij kippen, kalveren en varkens in Nederland; programma Antibioticaresistentie
