Wie kan aanvragen
The European Partnership on Transforming Health and Care Systems (THCS) brings the opportunity to coordinate and optimize research and innovation efforts in Europe and its partner countries supporting the much-needed transformation of health and care systems. Eligible institutions for the Netherlands are Universities, , health authorities, research institutes, SMEs, user organisations, NGOs, public sector, and municipalities. Universities of applied sciences can also apply for funding via Regieorgaan SIA.

Under this umbrella, the third Joint Transnational Call for proposals “Better care closer to home: Enhancing Primary and Community Care” aims to improve primary and community health and care systems, providing policymakers with knowledge and tools to manage transitions within the primary and community care sector. Projects funded under this call will deliver promising financial, organizational, and ractice-based service innovations that promote the transformation of health and care systems and contribute to faster exchange of best practices across different countries and regions.
Wat aanvragen
The aim of this call is to fund research and innovation projects that, within an ecosystem approach (see guidance for applicants p. 5 for details), strengthen the primary and community health and care systems, and provide policy and decision makers with the necessary knowledge and tools to govern the transitions that are needed in the primary and community care sector. Projects funded under this call will deliver promising financial, organisational and practise-based service innovations that promote the transformation of the health and care system and contribute to faster exchange of best practices across different countries and regions.

THCS offers will offer an information webinar to introduce the JTC 2025 on 17 December (14:00-16:00 CET). Go here to register for the webinar.
The THCS Call Secretariat will be available to answer applicants' questions. This is also a great opportunity for you to connect with regional/national applicants and provide further guidance on your regional/national eligibility criteria.

Joint proposals consist of two parts:
1) The pre-proposal form to present mainly the description of the planned work.
2) The electronic submission tool to provide particularly individual partner information and financial plans.
