The call for proposals for two focus areas within the COVID-19 Programme has now been published. Research groups can submit proposals for research aimed at the effects of the coronavirus pandemic and the measures taken against it. Until further notice, ZonMw had decided that the use of generative AI models in the assessment process by employees, referees, committee members and other assessor is not permitted. A confidentiality obligation applies to the assessment of applications, and this could be compromised. Therefore, nothing from the application may be entered into generative AI models by referees and other assessors. - Afbeelding
The Dutch Research Council (NWO) and ZonMw (the Netherlands Organisation for Health Research) are both signatories to the Barcelona Declaration on Open Research Information published April 16. This new initiative aims to promote the openness of research information and specifically, the openness of bibliographic metadata. This makes it part of the wider open science movement.
