The ZonMw Open Competition round 2025 will open on February 18, 2025. On Tuesday, March 4th, from 10:30 AM to 11:30 AM, ZonMw will organize an online information session for the Open Competition 2025 funding call. - Afbeelding
The first phase of the 2023 round of Create2Solve can start with the 6 proposals selected by ZonMw to develop animal-free innovations for industry and research. The preparations for the new ZonMw Open Competition round have started

ZonMw is offering 15 talented researchers the opportunity to do innovative research outside traditional frameworks. With a grant from the Off Road programme, they get the opportunity to further develop their out-of-the-box idea or hypothesis during one to one and a half years.

14 young researchers receive a NWO Rubicon grant. From organs-on-a-chip to obesity treatment and migration debates. At least 2,4 million euros is granted to develop their researchprogrammes abroad. - Afbeelding
In mid-June 2021, innovative teams of researchers can once again submit project ideas for the ZonMw Open Competition. With the current pandemic situation, everybody is under a lot of pressure. Therefore, instead of 2 months, we will give applicants 4 months of preparation time to submit their project idea once the funding round has opened. The deadline for submissions is mid-October 2021.

On Wednesday December 18th from 10.30 to 11.30, ZonMw will organise an information session for the Off Road 2025 grant call. The goal of this session is to inform potential applicants about the call and subsidy process. In addition, there will also be an opportunity to ask questions.
