Data are the most valuable raw material in the 21st century. The improved (re)use of data is the key to faster innovations and better policy. That certainly applies in the area of health and care. So how can we ensure that data can also actually be reused? - Afbeelding
On behalf of the Netherlands, we are part of the international partnership Joint Programming Initiative on Antimicrobial Resistance (JPIAMR), currently a collaboration between 28 member countries. Many projects funded under the framework of the JPIAMR already resulted in outstanding publications that range over One Health areas (Human, Animal, Environment). In the ZonMw Open Competition 2024 round, a total of 29 research teams have been selected to receive funding from a total budget of €24 million. This funding enables the research groups to develop innovative team science initiatives that contribute to the long-term advancement of fundamental (bio)medical science and healthcare. - Afbeelding
The Veni is a personal scientific grant aimed at researchers who have recently obtained their PhD. The grant instrument allows recipients to conduct research of their own choosing. The projects that receive funding therefore cover a wide range of topics. - Afbeelding
Researchers from Science (ENW), Applied and Engineering Sciences (AES) and Social Sciences and Humanities (SSH) domains and Health, Research and Development (ZonMw) receive Vidi grants of in total 86,7 million euros.
