Organising a workshop on systematic literature review animal studies 2025

What for
The grant supports organizing a 1-day workshop “Systematic Literature Review Animal Studies. This workshop provides researchers with the basic knowledge to initiate literature searches. It promotes the findability and reusability of results from animal studies or non-animal innovations. Participation is a prerequisite for a follow-up grant.
What to request
The following activities can be funded from this grant:
- In this grant round, the cost of organizing a workshop “Systematic literature review animal studies” can be requested. This workshop is aimed at ~20 participants.
- Only costs for activities incurred during the duration of the project are eligible.
- You can apply for a maximum of €6,500 grant for a maximum duration of 12 months.
- For workshops for which materials have been previously developed, an amount of € 2,800 to € 3,490 can be requested. For workshops for which teaching materials have yet to be (re)developed, a maximum amount of € 6,500 can be applied for. You can motivate and specify which situation applies in the application form.
When
Applications for this call of proposal will be accepted on a rolling basis until 15 December 2025, 14:00 CET, and will be evaluated on a first-come, first-served basis. It is possible that the total available grant budget (the grant ceiling) may be reached before the deadline. In that case, the grant call closes earlier and this will be shown on this page.
Grant applications can only be submitted by the lead applicant through ZonMw's online submission system (My ZonMw). This grant call is continuous. The closing date is December 15, 2025, 14:00 CET. Grant applications can be submitted as long as the budget available for the call is not exhausted.

- Use the format 'Budget Other Institutions'. Make sure the budget is fully completed and correct. As applicant, you are responsible for this. If the budget is not correct the application does not meet the conditions and will be rejected.
- Write the application in English/Dutch
- Before you submit your application digitally, we advise you to print out a Word version of your application (via My ZonMw) and check it for irregularities. Especially if you first drafted your application in Word and then copied it to My ZonMw, it may happen that some characters (such as quotation marks) are not converted correctly. You can correct this yourself in My ZonMw.
