Belgium - Netherlands Funding of International Trials 3 (BeNeFIT 3) – Full Research Proposals
Deadline:The Belgian Health Care Knowledge Centre (KCE) and ZonMw invest a maximum of 9 million euros in the third round of their joint programme ‘BeNeFIT’.
Who can apply
Research teams from institutions in Belgium and the Netherlands can apply who were invited to submit a Full Research Proposal can apply to this call.
What for
The aim of the call is to provide funding for clinical trials that compare the effectiveness of existing health care interventions that are already in use for a given indication, e.g. comparisons between two medications, medical therapy versus surgery, trials investigating optimal timing of surgery etc. The research should be pragmatic and practice-oriented.
What to request
Studies should fall within the scope of the “Efficiency Studies” (DoelmatigheidsOnderzoek) program or the “Rational Pharmacotherapy” (Goed Gebruik Geneesmiddelen) program of ZonMw. For detailed information please consult the websites of ZonMw for 'Efficiency Studies’ and ‘Rational Pharmacotherapy'.

The deadline for submission of the Full Research Proposal is 5 September 2023 14.00h (CET).

Checklist:
- Be received before the deadline of 05 September 2023 14:00h (CET, FRP phase);
- Be submitted through MijnZonMw application portal, and include all requested documents and budget using the appropriate templates and be readable;
- Be written in English;
- Include the name of the legal advisor from the sponsor and national coordinator institutes who has reviewed and accepted the draft consortium agreement template;
- Include a draft protocol.
