Strengthening the organization of the healthcare system on the ABCSSS islands
Deadline:This call for proposals aims to help strengthen the healthcare system on the ABCSSS islands. Projects should focus on improving the structure, cooperation and coordination within the healthcare system.
Who can apply
This call for proposals is aimed at organizations and partnerships (including those yet to be formed) operating in Aruba, Bonaire, Curaçao, Sint Maarten, Statia or Saba (the ABCSSS islands). These may include healthcare institutions, educational institutions and non-profit organizations. It is a requirement that the lead applicant is based on one of the ABCSSS islands.
What for
Grants are available for projects that contribute to strengthening the organization of healthcare on the ABCSSS islands. This includes projects aimed at improving the accessibility, quality and efficiency of care, for example by enhancing cooperation between different sectors, optimising existing processes and implementing innovative solutions. This can be achieved by applying, adapting or scaling up existing working methods, models or guidelines, or by testing new care models or protocols. Projects should preferably contribute to improving the health of vulnerable groups such as the elderly or refugees.
What to request
The call for proposals has a total budget of €360,000. The maximum grant budget per project is €60,000. The duration of a project is a maximum of 24 months.
Projects must spend at least 75% of the budget on the ABCSSS islands. This means that the majority of funding must be used for local services, materials, personnel, and other project-related costs within the islands. It is not intended for the grant to flow back to the Netherlands; funding is specifically intended for local strengthening on the ABCSSS islands. This must be evident in your budget. If part of the budget is spent in the Netherlands local procurement rules apply.
Co-financing, both in cash and in-kind, is not mandatory but is strongly encouraged to increase project's the impact and scope.
