ZonMw Open Competition: New grant round opens on February 17, 2026
The ZonMw Open Competition round 2026 will open on February 17, 2026. The deadline for submitting a pre-proposal is Thursday 2 April 2026 at 14:00 CET. After this, a decision procedure will take place, after which applicants will be invited to develop their pre-proposal into a proposal. The deadline is Tuesday 15 September 2026 at 14:00 CET.
Information session
On Tuesday 3 March 2026, from 10:30 to 11:30, ZonMw will organise an online information session for the ZonMw Open Competition 2026 call. The aim of this session is to provide an explanation of the call and the grant application process. There will also be time to ask questions during the session.
The meeting will take place in Microsoft Teams. An invitation to the meeting will be sent by email one day in advance. Register now for the information session via this link.
