Procedure change compared to previous rounds

Please note that there will be a procedural change compared to previous rounds. Following the example of the NWO Talent Programme and the Open Competition in other NWO domains, there will no longer be an advisory procedure after submitting a project idea. In the 2025 funding round, a decision procedure will be followed, after which applicants will be invited to further develop their project ideas.

The ZonMw Open Competition 2025 is expected to open in late February 2025. We will communicate this via our website
