Mariëlle Snijders appointed Director programmes ZonMw
On 15 June 2022, Mariëlle Snijders started as Director of programmes. She succeeds Hannie Bonink, who had fulfilled the role for five years. Mariëlle Snijders previously worked in ZonMw as head of the cluster Efficiency Studies.
Mariëlle: 'I consider the diversification that the position and perspective as Director of programmes offers to be a great challenge, for which I am happy to share my experience in ZonMw'. She will lead the programmes department together with her fellow Director of programmes Merik Seven. 'Together with Merik and the other management team members, I look forward to working on the challenges and developments within the department and in relation to ZonMw.'
Hannie Bonink
After five years as Director of programmes, I am pleased to pass on the position with full confidence to Mariëlle Snijders. 'During my period as Director of programmes, I worked together with many colleagues and a lot of parties outside of ZonMw to realise more coherency and impact in the realisation of our programmes.' With effect from 15 June 2022, Hannie Bonink will become an adviser in the ZonMw-wide development and strategy trajectories.
