Genome analysis brings along data and IT related challenges. Integration of genotype and phenotype data is required. Storing, sharing and analyzing DNA and phenotype data needs to be standardized across facilities to ensure optimal reusability of data, while adhering to security and privacy standards.

The call invites proposals from a consortium for developing an easy-to-use instruction manual for reusable genomic data in research and clinical care. The manual should be based on an inventory to be carried out on the commonly used work flow and standards in the (inter)national genomics field. The manual should ensure optimal reusability of genomic data according to the FAIR principles both for future research and in the health care setting.
A grant application can only be submitted by a Dutch research or knowledge institution.

The maximum requested budget is €300.000,-. The maximum duration of the project is two years.
