To realize quality health care, a sex and gender dimension needs to be integrated in all aspects of health research and clinical practice. ZonMw and Erasmus Summer Programme (ESP) offer a joint programme to further knowledge and skills in gender, health and research through the Gender in Research workshops and the Gender and Health course.
The ZonMw Gender and Health Knowledge Program will provide Gender in Research Fellowships for (inter)national PhD-students and post-doctoral researchers to participate in the online Gender in Research workshops and attend the Gender and Health course of the Erasmus Summer Programme.
This funding opportunity has funds available to fund up to 20 fellowships.
Successful applicants will obtain free exclusive access to the online Gender in Research workshops held over five 3.5 hour afternoon sessions (CET). This includes access to:
ZonMw will also pay the registration fees for the ESP Gender and Health course for each successful applicant directly with ESP.
The fellowship entails exclusive access to the Gender in Research workshop and direct payment of registration fees by ZonMw to ESP for attendance of the ESP Gender and Health course. Additional costs for attending the Gender in Research workshop or the ESP Gender and Health course are at the recipient’s own expense.
