Project ideas and grant applications can be submitted only through ProjectNet, a ‘self service portal’.

- Each programme has its own specific requirements. These are given in the call for proposals in the grant calendar.
- The website employs a 1-hour time-out period. If you have not worked on your web-based grant application for this length of time, ProjectNet closes automatically. So save your changes regularly!
- Your grant application can be taken into consideration only if you submit it electronically through ProjectNet and send a signed paper copy of the application through the post. More information on this can be found in the call for proposals in the grant calendar. This requirement does not, however, apply to applications concerning VENI, VIDI, VICI, Klinische Fellows and Investeringen Middelgroot.
