International collaboration

ZonMw and the National Institute on Drug Abuse (NIDA) have been actively collaborating since 1999. Together we promote and strengthen scientific collaboration between US and Dutch research groups working in the field of addiction and drug use.
One way to strengthen collaboration is to fund joint, top-quality binational research projects which both enrich the ongoing national research efforts and are an asset to the international field of addiction research.

The sixth binational workshop, was held in Washington DC on Octobre 22 and 23, 2009.
