The New INDIGO Networking Pilot Programme will launch a Call for Proposals for networking projects in the area of Biotechnology and Health
Europe – India
The FP7 funded ERA-Net “Initiative for the Development and Integration of Indian and European Research” (New INDIGO) aims at strengthening the multilateral S&T cooperation between Europe and India as well as at harmonising the existing bilateral cooperation to pave the way for long-term scientific cooperation. The joint call of New INDIGO’s Networking Pilot Programme will further enhance the coordination of the research collaboration between the European funding countries France, Germany, the Netherlands, Austria, Portugal and Turkey as well as India.
Proposals are invited in the field of Biotechnology and Health focusing on:
Research teams consist of at least three eligible partners: two partners coming from different European countries and one partner from India. Jointly they can apply for funding of research mobility and workshops as well as limited costs for equipment and consumables. Indian partners can apply for personnel costs up to 5% of their budget. Networking projects have a maximum duration of two years, and a maximum of € 50.000 per participating country can be applied for.
The proposals can be submitted through a 2-step application process. The first step, the submission of pre-registrations can be submitted until 8th of March 2010, 12:00 CET. Only pre-registered research consortia are admitted to submit a full project proposal. Detailed information about the application system is available at the New INDIGO Website.
The Netherlands Organisation for Scientific Research (NWO) is the participating funding body for Dutch scientists.
