Grants

ZonMw holds regular grant application rounds for its programmes, when researchers (from fundamental to applied) and care providers can apply for grants for research and innovation projects. Applications must be in line with the objective of the programme and conform to our quality criteria. Expert committees advised by independent experts (referees) select suitable proposals. ZonMw focuses particularly on the patient perspective (sufficient involvement of the public and patients) and on diversity (differences in culture, gender or age) in the selection of project proposals for grants.
